Yes, they are quite mental for a small car. Also, a very easy car to drive fast through corners as I found out at last week's cruise. So much so, the better half was telling me to slow down and I wasn't even going as hard as I could've. Coming from the GSi, I found the biggest learning curve is the EPAS.

Also, pulled the front lower control arms from the E30 the other night, along with the old E30 manual steering rack (4.4 turns L2L). Taking the control arms to my mate's to have him press in the new ball joints today. Still waiting on the poly mount bushes to come in. The old rubber ones literally disintegrated when I pulled the control arms out. Had a brainfart and then thought of a way I can fit the E36 rack in and clear the exhaust manifold, so I'll be getting on to that too. Reducing the L2L by 1.2 turns and adding power steering will make this thing handle really well. Ordered some poly bushes for the rear wishbones too, seeing as I need to change the entire wishbone to change from drum rear to disc rear. Seems easy enough to do too, so once they're here and the front is done, I'll be on to that too. I want to put poly bushes in the sway bars and diff mounts too, but in regards to the sway bars, I know some of the 6 cyl models have thicker bars, so I'll grab them first on my next trip to U-Pull-It.

Stupid part is, the poly bushes and the ball joints were ordered the same day (Thursday 10th). Ball joints were meant to come from Sydney, but were in fact sent from Taiwan via EMS. I got them Wednesday just been. These Super Pro poly bushes, are supposed to come from Melbourne (and are according to the Auspost tracking), yet they're still not even here yet.
