Car wouldn't start. Flat battery.
Its 4 years old so fair enough.
Where's the best place to buy a battery from?
Alco bring in maintenance free batteries, RACQ and PowerCrank re-sticker them as their own.
I'd recommend going to a proper battery place TBH, might be cheaper (than RACQ/RACV anyway) and the PowerCranks have a 24month warranty.
Yeah ended up just going to my mechanic. All sorted now.
I have to agree with you on that...
The astra had a 650cca battery and the veccy only has a puny 450cca... May need a bigger one

Half the problem with our cars is, the batteries we need are usually DIN spec (DIN53 in my case) and they're ridiculously expensive. I've had a Century 500CCA in the GSi for over 3 years without issue and it cost me around $180 and considering it's also endured long periods without being used, it still has no problems starting every time.

Yea mine is an exude sumthn rather and lasted about 5 years or more. Didn't have any receipts for batteries. New one was $190
Almost finished installing my new 10" active sub.
it's mounted, connected to battery, earthed RCA's plugged in and cables hidden under trim.
Mosquitoes were eating me alive so the remote turn on wire is all that's left for the morning!
hahaa yeah man well I did plug it all in and turned it on earlier today and dayum! Love that extra bass!
Just a matter of figuring out how to connect that remote turn on wire to the headunit so the sub only comes on when the headunit turns on.. dont want to flatten my battery now!
