Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

Bought dry ice, used a scrapper and a mallet, continued removing sound deadener

Thought about chassis stiffness whilst belting frozen tar with mallet

Took the GSi for a run yesterday, damn brakes are still squealing like pigs. Although, they're slightly better now. It would probably help if I also fitted the anti-squeal thingos that came with the pads too.

Speaking of brakes, also put a new set of pads on the iLoad. 70,000kms on Bendix Heavy Duty pads isn't too bad, so I used the same pads again. Much less dust creation than the factory spec pads too.

Re: What have you done to your car lately?

Mum crashed the veccy... Some wanker decided to go from the left lane into the right then 100m down the road decided he was turning left into his driveway from the right hand lane, didn't see my mum in the left lane and she basically T-boned him...
