Dropped the H off to Holden, got told both side mirror motors are ****ed, left it there overnight as parts weren't available today.
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

I believe he's rounded off the holes for his wheel bolts.

Also just dropped off the car at the mechanic to get cv boot replaced, got quoted $125 so its not too bad.

broke another power window regulator on Saturday.......this time its the rear drivers side (was passenger side last time). Thankfully I won't be ridiculously overcharged for the repair this time. last time was $600....and that WASN'T from Holden! So I changed mechanics and have been happy since.
Old Car 0-100km/h took a friggin long time
New Car 0-100km/h takes only 5.9sec
