found out CAI was making car run ridiculously lean on stock tune. Especially towards red-line with 5 degrees of timing pulled and vicious knock
hence why the CAI gave it so much power.
lesson learnt.

Getting it re-tuned after I get my Warranty stuff done to 200kws (3rd gear virtual dyno pull)
The results are made up of a virtual dyno pull. The reason 3rd is used because 4th would be way to fast in the area were the runs are done. The 200kw reading may not be right highly doubt it is but we know how much the gain is from over stock and the pants feeling. Once tuning is done im sure Nico will be putting the wrx on a real dyno to get more accurate readings and to check the A/F ratio. Either way the drive ability and increase in power from stock is very noticeable. The tune is a full dyno tune for a standard MY11 WRX + Perrin CAI. The map is then flashed onto the car then road testing is done and the map is altered to suit the car this maybe done two or three time. Full logging and virtual dyno readouts done after each drive. Ill let Nico explain it better if need be.
