replaced the gear linkages, can shift properly again, hooray.
Cleaned out all the interior.
fitted a cigerette lighter up the front, and one in the boot as switchable auxillary power that doesnt need the key in. perfect for my car fridge and spot light.
and mounted up my GPS again, now that i actually have a way of powering it.
also wiped down my wheels, and went for a mint late night cruise along the beach and FWY
Im free all day so going to give it a full detail today. Anyone recommend me a good wheel cleaner?

The way I did it I didn't end up needing any new hoses at all and I significantly reduced the length of the factory piping to the BOV. It was pretty easy to do though!
As far as the drive goes, I'm not entirely confident I'm not just imagining things but it looks like it's recirculating less when under small load because my boost gauge is reading slightly less vacuum than usual when off-boost but normal at idle and on-boost. I'm not so sure this will reflect positively in fuel economy but we'll see.
I might swap back and pay closer attention to the changes it makes.
