I fixed the new blue Astra today! Turns out after plumbing the boost control solenoid back in, the remaining couple of issues (misfire and slipping accessory belt) were the same issue. It was the alternator which had a clutch inside the pulley. The Z20LET lovers page indicated it was a VXR alternator. Anyway, the clutch or pulley was slipping and could be observed by turning the alternator by hand with the belt off. Anyway, I swapped in the alternator off the other car and took it for a test drive, car is 100% happy now!
I should really make a thread for this car now lol, just a bit short on time with the new job these days.

So unfortunately haven't got it back as yet. Car is currently sitting at 179.8kwatw on 14psi. And as it turns out that is the limit of actuator spring that came with the turbo. So this afternoon at 3 they ordered a 14pound spring to replace the 7 pound one and will resume the tuning tomorrow. They still need to go and add in ignition timing and adjust cam regarding/advancing to see what works best but tomorrow I should have it back. Unless I need to upgrade my recirculation valve lol

Replaced thermostat and housing as my car had seemed to be getting hotter than it used to and the fan was kicking in every 45 seconds. It was running between 96-105 degrees Celsius and now it's down around 90 when moving and never goes over 99 in traffic. Best bit Is the fans only kicking in when it should and not every 45 seconds.
I'm pretty sure the heat caused my valve cover gasket to fail so next week I'll be replacing that.

Congrats @Calvin and hopefully you get as much enjoyment from driving the car as I did.
