Wow. So turns out when your wheels are actually aligned it make the whole drive a lot smoother.
Pretty good value too - $450 for new plugs, oil + filter, fuel filter, camber bolts on front, camber shims on rear, alignment.
They were really receptive to it and surprised at how much pep it has, having written most Astras off as "Just an Astra" and they seemed to have the same mindset as me in terms of wanting to do the job properly rather than just 'get it done'. Being a small business probably helped too.
Car just feels a bit smoother overall now which is a nice feeling!
Cheers

Popped in today and had a look turbo and manifold have been mounted, intercooler and radiator are in place to start intercooler piping as well as starting some air guides which will mount to the front crash bar and further secure the intercooler to prevent flex. Following that down pipe and side exit exhaust
Pics will be up in my ride thread
Haha or nahhh Astra's aren't turbocharged.
Yes it's worth it after you get to enjoy it for the first time. You tend to forget all about it. But leading up to that point it's all painful

Yeah, you can imagine the reaction I get with the Corsa. First dyno run, the operator was iffy when I told him it'd probably punch out 160-170kw at the wheels. I guess that changed when he saw a "Barina" put out 173kw and he's like "f me". Second one, being a dyno day, I think I got a hell of a reaction from the crowd, regardless of the dodgy figures that it was putting out. Also, I found that some V8 drivers don't like being beaten by a "girls car", I even had some dick in a XR8 try and run me off the road because I handed his ass to him.
Nothing beats the sleeper factor though.
