It also has the option of a digital tachometer and accurate digital speed. To get accurate speed you give it your tire size and then it calculates based on the rpm of the wheel what your speed is. This is great for people like me who have a slightly larger tire. I'll be able to monitor my speed on the highway and make sure I'm still ok. As far as the layout, it's actually all programmable. So you can pick what gets displayed in each spot.
