Oops yes, my bad. That is what I was trying to say and confused myself. If you look at the sensor inside it's quite self explanatory IMO. And the mesh grille should face toward the filter, pre-sensor insert.

Did my 2yr service, everything is good, the rotors still have plenty of life in them I think taking the time to properly bed them in when I first got the car really helped. The only thing I did find is the hose clamp for the intercooler pipe of the turbo is hitting the firewall on heavy launches so think I might look at some powerflex engine mount inserts. It's the only powerflex components I don't own but I haven't fitted any of the others because I really don't want to make the car to harsh when just driving it normally. Didn't change the brake fluid because I did that a couple of months ago and will do it again at the end of the season when fitting braided brake lines.

About 280km. If I didn't have NRMA premium, it would have cost just over $1000. Instead it's just going to be a couple of hundred for the alternator and belt 😀
I was coming back from Malaysia, and all I could think was, thankfully it didn't happen on the way to the airport.

Replaced the reverse light switch after not having any reversing lights. The original switch functioned correctly out of the F 23 gearbox but fails when installed.
Used a genuine GM switch, as I didn't want any hassles with aftermarket.
Noticed the switch didn't have a washer on the old part or with the new one.
Having noticed that, the two surfaces are pretty smooth. Still a little weird.

Shit thats alright. I didnt think they would cover that far for free. I thought 200km was maximum free tow.

Started fitting the new roose hoses to the van then it started pissing down with rain so had to packnup and come in. The roose stuff is so much better quality than oem stuff!

Yeah, Adam... I thought so too! Apparently if it's over 100km and would take >24hrs to fix it's classed as a major breakdown so they give you $3000 worth of accommodation or towing or transport/hire car.

Looks like I'm going to have a busy week off. Full hose kit to add to all the hoses I've done so far.
