Yeah, noticed that too. Also during a public holiday or school holiday, price shoots up too here. Funny how they say in the news that as of next week the fuel price "might" go up to 1.60 , then next week the fuel, by some miracle, is indeed 1.599 If someone in the world even farts, they say the price goes up but if the oil price goes down, it all of a sudden takes them weeks to lower the price even by the smallest margin. rant rant rant rant, ah well, wrong thread here. What have I done to my car today.. well.. absolutely nothing as I parked it with the windows open to get rid of the McDonalds smell Click here to enlarge

And once I'm ready to fit one of his hybrid turbos and third party FMIC I should be good for 240bhp with only a nominal fee for an updated map.

I'd be amazed if you're able to dump the ECUs map with a clone tool of any sort, especially if it's like a Galletto or KWP2000, which I'm lead to believe have a hard time dealing with the Astra H's CANBUS. But yeah, 240bhp and truck like torque would be nice too.

Had a look at the Astra today, gearbox, clutch and flywheel are mostly back in, needs everything wired up, subframe and driveshafts to go in then hopefully I can enjoy driving the car again. Been 5 weeks so far.

You're lucky. On the two occasions I was having the iLoad engine rebuilt, the f***ers took 4 months each time. And it wasn't like they had much other work to do either. I ended up having to put a foot up their backside to get the van back on both rebuilds.

Meanwhile, the coilovers for the SRi are meant to show up in the next day or so and I've also ordered a full Powerflex purple suspension bush for it, to replace the 14 year old rubber items that are probably well and truly flogged out by now.

It's why I generally hate mechanics. With my van, I got told it was gonna be a month max. Then they get the balls to still charge me full price, knowing that my work depended on that vehicle and the external costs I incurred as a result. Not only that, on the second time around, they only half did the job.

Yeah, I tend to do most of the work on my car myself, too hard to remove the gearbox on the side of the road though so took it to my mechanic, he dropped the box and did all of his work quickly just gearbox place was so slow. Hopefully get the car back finished this week. Miss driving it.

I think I have some air trapped in the Corsa's brake system somewhere. I had the calipers off when doing the brakes so I needed to do a full bleed, but I put about 1.5 liters of fluid through the system and don't seem to be getting any more bubbles out through any of the calipers. But the pedal still feels spongy on the top 1/4 of travel and they were never like that before.

Anybody else had this before? If I just need to keep bleeding then I'll give it a shot, but I don't want to just keep pumping fluid through for no reason.
