Well, seeing as I'm waiting for my new brake bleeder kit to turn up to bleed the clutch, I thought I'd test something that might be of interest to fellow Corsa SRi owners. And that is how to fit a switch that will just switch the traction control on and off without affecting the function of the ABS system. Turns out it's pretty easy and it's the exact same method as in the Astra G with ABS too.

Booked in the SRi for new boots tomorrow... geez the stock tyre size is a shit... weird enough that it is very limiting on your choice of tyres and what you can get is more expensive than the common sizes.
Already off to a shakey start, drop the car off to be told they weren't able to source my chosen tyres yesterday (Conti Premiumconact 2) and due to the odd size, alternatives are quite limited so we've agreed on the more expensive Pirelli PZero Nero GT which is a sportier tyre than the Conti anyway and the guy agreed to do them for the same price as the Conti's to make up for not having them ready for me. See how we go.
I have the pzero Nero's on my car, they were fine with stock power, quite grippy cornering and in the rain unless you really put the boot in. Once the boost went up and other mods happened they tended to get a lot of wheel spin till the car gets to 100km/h
New brakes are all finally here for the Corsa! Ended up getting QFM HPX pads and DBA T2 rotors all around.
Nothing yet, not expected to get the car back this week though. expecting a call today to tell me to come pick up the gearbox so i can take it to the gearbox factory for diff install and gearbox inspection, think i may need a new sychro for 4th as it sometimes grinds downshifting from 5th.
It also has a oil leak that seems to be quite bad, only had a quick look at it and seems to be from the turbo oil line fitting on the block so may need to replace that.
Took the Corsa for a drive. All I can say is f*** me it's quick.
