The 10" screen is much easier to look at bits on the fly.
I got the elm mini bluetooth thingy and works well on newer cars as well on the older Astra's. Also use "Torque" on my xperia. Note however though that I have not seen they turn themselves off. Not sure how much juice they drain from the battery.

I mean, when I turn off the ignition, the light on the elm thing stays on solid.

iPhones are hopeless in the fact their bluetooth is clamped down to mostly audio devices. The only way I know how to get an OBDII scanner to work on it is to get an ELM327 that is WiFi based as opposed to bluetooth.

Put the freshly repainted wheels back on the SRi, came up a treat! Just need some new boots for them now. Anyone wants to buy some 17" SSW Mesh II wheels?
