Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.

This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

This is honestly ridiculously high on my list of 'things I will not compromise on when we build a house'. Driveway that you can get in and out of without scraping or needing a wheel alignment (I'm looking at you, mountable kerbs...).

    Cheers

On the house I own, I have a pretty flat driveway coming off the road. Only problem with that is, when it rains, you need a 4wd to get through it.

If we ever bought the place (renting), I would have looked into it, but we wont buy it if it comes up for sale. It needs way too much work
