    Well it depends, if you want to make use of the performance gains available from a good turbo back exhaust then you will need a tune. Also, because your first O2 sensor is in the down pipe the readings can be thrown off a bit when you change the pipes and a retune will account for this.

    Mine is a custom 3" my mate made for me, it is going back this week to be adjusted to fix the vband clamp issue.

    It all comes down to what you want to spend, my old toyosport dump pipe lined up perfect but was not big enough when I did all my upgrades.

    For a stage 2 all you really need is an exhaust and intercooler.

    Also, if I get a new recirc valve with a stiffer spring (stage 1, 2 and 3) is this going to cause any damage before I get the car retuned?

    it might throw your car into limp mode or could damage your turbocharger if the spring is too stiff. The recirc valve however with the standard spring would be fine.
