Replaced all the boost pipe hose clamps, 6 in total, sounds and pulls much better.
Fixed up a wire that had exposed copper from being rubber by the loom cover and taped neatly and then reworked all the cables where the dickie loom goes under a plate next to the coil pack plug.

I nuked my bank account for the second time this month by buying tools, parts and detailing supplies for the cars.

I bought a MechPro 194 piece toolbox on sale from Repco so I don't need to keep borrowing my father's stuff to work on the car. Nice set, good range of metric and imperial tools, but I didn't realise until I got home that the actual toolbox doesn't lock the draws with the key, only the top compartment. Bit of a bummer as I want it to be my mobile toolkit for trackdays too. I will just have to pack it in such a way that draws don't open on the drive.

Then I bought new oil, air and fuel filters for the Astra and some Shell Helix Ultra Extra oil. I've been using it in the Corsa and have been happy with it so far.

I also got some sandpaper and compound to restore the headlights on both cars. I did it before on the Corsa but wasn't happy with the work so it needs to be done again. In addition to a foam gun attachment for the water hose for washing and an assortment of soaps and cleaners for the interior, leather, exterior, wheels and engine bay. And to top it off some clay bar, a good sealant and wax. I can't wait to get it done to the cars.

I then bought a new wheel brace as I bent the standard spanner in the Corsa after an over torquing mishap. While I was there I also picked up some proper wheel chocks as I have always used wood scraps or bricks.
