Took the Corsa to Wakefield Park again today, had a great day, improved my best lap by 8.2 seconds roughly from last time I was there. Really happy with that for my second track day ever Click here to enlarge

Awesome work Vaughn! Many photos? Presuming you took the Sri instead of the SRiT?

Something small for me, wash, photo shoot.

Yep, I took the Corsa not the Astra. I only grabbed a couple of phone pics at the event, but I did get some GoPro footage too so I'll upload that at some point. I'll also try get pics from the official photographers they had there.

I also forgot to mention that the 1:21.426 laptime I did was just over a second off the pace that the Instructor had put down when driving my car to feel it out and give me advice. He did a 1:20.08 as his best.

Replaced rear wheel bearings and rotors. Cleaned up calipers and am in the process of painting them now. Also picked up another bonnet (in pretty damn good nick, ie has clear coat intact) and another blower fan motor. As my new heater core hasn't shown up yet, I won't be putting the fan or resistor in until that's done. Still need to get myself a new pollen filter too.

Finished all the brakes, bearings, lines and bonnet today. Looks better and drives better, although I need a wheel alignment and the brake fluid could do with a flushing.

Got rid of the old Michelins off the Veccy after 96,000km and replaced them with a set of slightly wider Michelin Primacy 3 ST tyres at Jax Tyres. The guys in Prahran saved me $236 and if they're anything like the old ones they may see out my ownership of the car. Only time will tell.
