    Hi Peeps!

I want to improve my exhaust, and maybe other aspects of my OPC. Can anyone suggest good engineers in Melbs? They will have to deal with top line pre existing gear. The exhaust in an Insignia OPC is already a fully tuned Remus. So they will need to know their shit. Any ideas please?

There's an Insignia OPC owner here in Adelaide who went to get a new exhaust done, amazingly he was told he would be wasting his money if he went ahead with it, due to it allegedly being of a really good design from factory.

iirc Remus are a pretty good brand, and if its "fully tuned" then why bother changing it?

imo id be putting the money into an tune, then you will definitly feel the difference Click here to enlarge

Implying the ecu isnt "fully tuned" either.

sounds pretty beasty from the factory, never seen one irl though.

Started some work on the E30 again. Pulled the E30 steering rack out, disassembled steering shaft and using took the top knuckle off the E30 shaft, joined it on to the steering shaft from a TS Astra. What this does is hopefully give me a steering shaft that won't foul on the extractors for when I put the E36 Compact steering rack in. For those that wonder why I'm using an E36 rack in the E30, it's that the E36 rack is a full turn L2L quicker than the original E30 racks. That, and I'm going from manual steering to power steering too.

Next up, refit the rack and start hooking everything else up underneath the car. Probably look at getting the front ARB off a six cylinder E30 too and fitting that out with poly bushes. I'd say the car needs more low at the front, but I'm guessing the sump will say no, didn't realise since I fitted the six cyl front struts, it's actually dipped enough that I can't put the trolley jack under the centre of the crossmember from directly in front of the car.
