After finding a small amount of coolant in the engine bay some weeks ago, i planned to order a new overflow bottle from the UK. Till 2 days ago there was a rather large puddle on the garage floor. Can't wait 2 weeks on a new one from the UK but luckily Holden was able to supply a new one rather fast and quite cheap. Turns out the old bottle had a large crack on the bottom. All fixed
Car also came op in the system for the Takata airbag recall so I just have to wait for further instructions from Holden.

Have had an awful grinding noise on the golf every time you went round a corner.

3 mechanics and $700 later and it’s fixed. How hard is it to find a destroyed gearbox mount?

That was gearbox and engine mount. Leaving the gearbox mount broken for months because the original mechanics were replacing wheel bearings and cv’s caused the engine mount to go as well. Had a water pump the week before for the best part of $1200

Oh, and the OPC got a FMIC, tune and lots of new stickers
