Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....

I'm a Boilermaker/Welder & Spraypainter, I started the Boily Apprenticeship and carried on for 2 Years. Then I started Spraypainting and did the full 4 years, Then I ended up back welding again.
Plus I have pretty good mechanical Knowledge.
I am a leccy and it helps sometimes, esp, with the ICE. Could possibly overhaul an engine if really neccessary. Can do most of my DIY's but get lazy at times.

Worked as a Machanic for a few years.
Built and run 3 rally cars over the last 20 years.
Worked in IT for 10 years.
Now work for the University of QLD as a Maintanance Enginer... looking after Magnets and no not fridge magnets. Super Conductive Cryo Magnets... so like when you have a Cat Scan or MRI that sort of stuff.
I am soon geting a new workshop with a new CNC Mill and CNC Lathe which I run as well.
