hmm yeh photo of the month would be cool, maybe make it the homescreen?? (even though i ussually skip that page) but who would determine it being #1? would it be a poll or admin? maybe leave it up to pauly but all his photos would be #1 cause there always the best damn him and his photo skills

Upgrade the forum version? New Theme? There's HEAPS of easy addons you can look for vBullietin that are fun. Karma I think was a good one. Also, easy ones like starts or icons depending on how many posts you've made.
Fun little stuff I think. It just adds to the board even if it's just small tweaks.

+1. especially with sale section.
i havent seen any bad feedback for opelaus members, but with the opel line up ceasing from holden, possibly holden stopping supply of opel parts in say 5-10 years, and already released models dropping in price, we are going to see alot more members and alot more used parts changing hands via the forums.
not to mention some possible scammers.

i meant for DIY and general knowledge when asking questions.. but yeh one for for sale section would be good aswell (bit like ebay )

what about instead of "car of the month" and everyone votes on it, Just randomly every month, a member is chosen to write up like an interview-y thing like they do in the mags, yeah you might get some duds but still, at least it will give everyone the chance to contribute and it won't be the same few people who are in the "friends" circles who always end up winning.

You can kick it off by having maybe 5 or so names, and who ever responds quickest will be the contributor for that month.

You can have like a set questionnaire so it would all be semi-interesting for a few months.
