ummm, quite frankly, yes. the reason i bought my astra is because it was the best looking car for that price at the time i bought it, dec 04 (i stupidly didnt realise we had a mazda dealership otherwise i probably would have bought a mazda 3)
as i said, yes the focus looks nice, but not nice enough to entice me to go with a ford.
i cant quite bring myself to think of the daewoo range as holdens, infact i do not class the opel range as holdens either. nor the rodeos, nissans and toyotas.
compare holden vs ford, model vs model for every design change since the beginning of holden, and the only time ford has come out on top looks wise is just recently with the fiesta focus vs daewoo barina daewoo viva.
if we compare commodore vs falcon, no there has never been a falcon that looks better than a commodore.

no doubt about it, the ba was a huuuuuge improvement on the au, but in the end its just an au with its nose and arse flattened a bit. but i think id prefer a ba than a fg.
but as bek said, i wouldnt buy a ford cos its a ford.
but that is just personal preference.
