Re-map= tuning your cars computer to make more power.

Like Brad said you can put the turbo kits on your SRi but theyre very hard to come buy and cost a lot of $$$$ from Holden. And no you cant have mine lol.

Jump on ebay and type in Astra headlight or taillight Click here to enlarge

Awsome, I like the idea of allowing more air flow, i assume that would increase fuel efficency and things of that nature, plus id love a little more sound out of it ( without over doing it)

So any rough ideas of what the exhaust and pod filter stuff would cost me, and were i can get those kind of things done?

P.S Thanks guys for all the quick replys, This afternoon i had no idea, and at least now i have a good starting point, So cheers for thatClick here to enlarge

it prob is, but i'll add a lil neway Click here to enlarge.
    cost is $600.
gains are not sujested, due to the diff between cars.
but there is reviews for that reason.
the remap changes timing, fueling, throttle control, rev limit ect...
which again depends on the car and motor, i.e. 1.8L astra and corsa doesnt get an increased rev limit due to weak valve springs.

Sounds good, sounds like there are definetly advantages to it, One thing i noticed is i find my astra (2.2) to be a little sluggish, id like a little responce under the foot, i little more get up and go, Would this be something that would help with obtaining that?

yeah, i dont like to sound like a salesman but, so best to read the reviews linked from the 1st post in that thread Click here to enlarge.

the main advantage of a remap is increasing the acceleration of the car, in doing this in almost all cases throttle response and drivability is increased, aswell as torque (in gear acceleration).
also in most cases when driven the normally (not enjoying the extra go too much) there is also an increase in fuel economy.

Pod Filters on the 2.2L are like tits on a bull - useless. There is too much hot air underneath the bonnet and all that will happen it it'll be sucked into the engine. Much better and cheaper solution is to de-restrict the air box, and fit the Vectra C intake. Panel filter is optional.

It make a better induction noise than a ricer cone too Click here to enlarge

That sounds really good, cause that was something that was really begining to bug me.

At this point in time it is still stock standard, would i still experience good results despite this?
