want to know things like iso, exposure, shutter speed...

do you thtink i should light the car up with a spotlight too, or just rely on the fires.

we got a 7 x 8m concrete pad up the back, with a 2.5m high limestone wall at the back.
i sorta got the shot planned out...
oh, fires will be in 2 halves of a 44 gallon drum and 2 washing machine drums, so i've got 4 largish fires, and was prob gonna put some fuel soaked wood on some A4 sized metal trays we have.
    ISO 400 - 800
    f5
shutter speed max 1 sec (any more, and you don't get the flame texture)

Only use the fire to light up the car. Reason is the flames will give a completely different light colour to the spot light, and using the 2 will cause a imbalance and mismatch of light in the photo.

i love it. the fact that im never goin to be a pro, but can still take/make awesome shots.

tho i do feel bad for the guys who are trying to make a living out of it, must be a really hard slog with all the try hards around.
obviously the "real deals'" work still stands out, just a lot less than it used to, ie before digital.

You bought the same camera as me right? There is an option in the menu to either, RAW, RAW+jpeg, or just various quality jpeg
