    fence was a right royal pain... but like MatsHoldent said, if you focus to a point beyond the fence it works out ok.... also helps if you are relatively close to the fence and your focus point is a fair way off and the piece of fence you are shooting through is in the shade.

    not sure what MatsHolden used... mine were/are:

    the Brawn & Ferrari - 500mm, f8, 1/800, 200ISO
    the Red Bull - 50mm, f14, 1/250, 200ISO

    lens is a Sigma 50-500mm on a handheld Canon 30d
