    so how much you end up paying all up including all accessories and stuff.

    Camera $649, UV filter $19, Polarising filter $49, Carry bag $25, 4GB SDHC card $19 and I already had a fully adjustable tripod from the Video Camera but I have seen good ones at JB-Hifi for around $100-$150 and they look decent too. So all up you'd probably be forking out around $900 for a basic setup. Also you can buy lense adaptor and close-up lense and other lenses for it
