Shouldn't be too confusing mate, everything is still here for me Click here to enlarge
You know you can change the number of posts per page, as well as the order (newest at top, or bottom) just under User CP up the top left Click here to enlarge

Opelising basically entails removing the holden badges, and replacing them with Opel badges. Done for a variety of reasons and it's a personal choice thing Click here to enlarge

Is this the badge? Do people who choose to opelise their Astra leave the Holden writing on or remove that as well as the badge?

That's the opel blitz mate Click here to enlarge check out some members rides thread and you'll see it plastered over a lot of our rides.
You can replace the word "Holden" with "Opel" or just replace the lion with the blitz and remove the holden word. Entirely up to you mateClick here to enlarge

just incase you didnt know mate, (id say you do though) your astra was made by opel, not holden.
holden import the cars and badge them with holden badges.
i totally agree with diesel145, opelising is a personal choice, its totally up to you.
if you decide not to opelise your astra, your not alone, there a quite a few members who havent done it and a few members who are against it, for their own personal reasons.
i opelised my astra, because to me my astra is an opel, not a holden.

finding opel badges can sometimes be very difficult,
the easiest is the front grille badge.
rear badges are a major pain in the butt to source from australia.
and steering wheel badge leaves you with 2 choices, either purchase from someone overseas, or swap someone for their airbag
if you check out some uk opel sites etc you might get lucky and find someone who wants holden badges.
2nd choice is probably the easiest and cheapest, it involves getting your hands on a opel wheel cap badge, if you want to do this, then just search the forum for info on how to do it.

which ever way you choose, if you get stuck let us know and someone will help you.

Wow, makes my head spin trying to comprehend all those specs .... it's a bit over my head but I do know that the GSi is the top range .... I'll be happy to fix my aerial and then replace the drivers side mirror which I knackered while reversing out of our driveway a month ago ... then there's some rust that needs tending to ... that's about it for my budget Click here to enlarge
