PvP Levels

i have been in a battle for a while cos the person i was fighting was busy and couldnt equip. while i was waiting for them to equip i had advanced from level 17 to level 20.

now this morning that battle finished and i am back to my level 17 status :evil: (not happy jan)

i know this has happened to other people as well. The Sentinel went back a few levels after he finished a long winded battle....

can i go back to my level 20 Sniper???? or do i have to work my way back up again?

depends how bored i am.... usually daily...

and besides i saw it say

"YOU HAVE GONE UP A LEVEL" 3 times

This is an odd one. I have noticed that the player info is stored in a few locations.

I believe it works like this.....

1: Player stats are located in the Player's OpelAus Username database entry.
2: This data gets loaded into the PvP database upon starting a battle.

This explains why your PvP stats are different during battle to your Profile.

Also, if you go up a level due to posting, it does not (I believe) affect your current battle. So, your Profile then shows a higher level than the PvP. And when the battle is over, possibly, the PvP stats get loaded back to your Profile. Thus lowering it.....

I guess that's a bug.....

Anyway..... This is my theory. :roll:

Just do what i do and save your lvl in the headquarters after each lvl up...then when you battle finishes...if you revert back..you can restore your saved details. :mrgreen:
