welcome to oa, quite like the veccy Cs
as for opel/holden,
as far as I know (open to corrections) Opel were the original designers/manufacturers of the Corsa (Barina until the TK), Astras (TR, TS, AH) and the Vectras (the previous vectra (JS?) were however built in Aus for a brief time)
They were then imported by holden and sold with the holden badging, as holdens.
Opel is a German Car Manufacturer owned by GM, Vauxhaul is the UK arm which rebadges opels as Vauxhauls
currently, the Astra is the only Opel that holden is importing anymore. These days they import the Barina from Korea, which is infact a facelifted daewoo kalos.
So yeah, your vectra can be known as either an Opel, Vauxhaul or Holden Vectra
^ what he said
welcome to the club john. dont be afraid to yell out if you need any more info
Sure, we dont have to worry about viking raids or scurvy anymore, but instead we make a daily routine of sitting in flimsy, fibreglass (or metal) boxes full of gasoline which are propelled in opposing directions on the freeway at velocities matching that of low flying aircraft.
This is a roundabout way of saying that cars are dangerous....
Welcome to OA mate. Holden did a badge swap with opel when they brought it in to Australia.
