OA is a non-business enterprise carried on as a private recreational persuit (or a hobby) by the two owners. It is not a business, company, corporation, not-for-profit organisation or charity. There are however, as with anything in this world, many costs involved in maintaining a website such as this.
Some of these costs are reduced by voluntary maintenance and administration.
Due to recent "concerns" amongst certain members, you may make a donation of any amount you feel is appropriate. You will however, receive nothing in return for that donation except a personal "thanks" from one of us. Any donations made will reside in an owner's personal bank account and be put towards the running of OA.
If you wish to make a donation, send a Private Message to either myself or Poita, and we will give you details on how to.
As OA is not a business or charity, it does not have any requirements under Australian Taxation Law to declare any gifts or donations received in the course of carrying on that hobby.
If you also wish to obtain merchandise, such as stickers, lanyards, keyrings or pens, send a Private Message to either myself or Poita and we will give you more details.
