I haven't watched an episode of the Aussie Top Gear, I love the UK one too much and I know Australia would not have done it well and don't want to tarnish the high opinion My thoughts before it started were: what possible tracks/roads do we have to compare to the Swiss Alps etc? What home grown cars do we have to show off? What possible hosts and Stig do we have that's even half the calibre of the UK? I think that's probably enough for my rant

Plenty of fantastic roads throughout Australia, only have to look at the episode where they went through the targa tassy roads; obviously we've got the home grown performance variants of the Commodore and Falcon but there's also quite a lot of other Australian made vehicles from much smaller companies; and we have some of the best racing drivers in the world that could go toe to toe with the UK stig.

pretty expensive advertising stunt for holden if they had to pay for the damage for the astras.

in the comments section of that link someone mentions the cartoonist (warren) being the only saving grace...
id definately have to say the young bloke is the only one i really like, he gives real info about the car, eg spec etc, and is entertaining to watch too.
keep him, and dump the others, especially clarkson jr.
