Howdy gang,
Picked up a clean Black Dec '02 Barina Sri 2 weeks ago, with 48000kms on the clock. I was driving a dirty old EB falcon before that, so this is quite the change.
I'm loving the in gear acceleration, especially around the city in peak hour, and the fact that I no longer have to brake for corners.
I've got it booked in for the major service this week (cam belt et al) so I can start with a clean slate. It's gonna need at least part of the exhaust replaced, as it's clearly on the noisy side. Hopefully nothing else...
Coming to a corner near you...
Andrew

Just threw $1300 bucks at her (ouch) to get it cherry ripe. It had only done 48000Kms, but was about 6 years old, so I wasn't going to chance the cam belt, plus it needed new pads and front discs, too. Damn. Still waiting to hear what needs replacing on the exhaust side.
I took a few hours to wash her on Saturday, where I tried to get all the little bits of built up grime of. Lots of elbow grease. But man, does she look awesome now...
And man, does she eat corners. I can't believe how quick I can take corners without being anywhere near the limit.
Mind you, I was coming from a '93 Ford Falcon. Can you say body roll?
