In a different colour, like black, i think it'll look a lot better. From pics of the interior though, its a vast improvement on previous model GT-Rs, very nice.

Ugly or not, its a marvel of mechanical engineering, something the europeans would be envious of. Maybe the interior looks like a little too much plastic was used, but when you're on the track, all of that hardly matters. This isn't the car for people who aren't serious about performance.

I still think it has the aggressive looks to match its performance! At the end of the day, this car is built for one purpose... to be driven hard.

Yet you'd think if it was a serious performance car you'd have at least a manual option!!

Nah it needs a fair bit of aftermarket work to make it a serious performance car....for example the suspension is archaic......I mean even HSV have magnetic ride control.(for those with no clue about anything; this is standard in most 'supercars' as of late due to amount and speed of adjustability...R3N was the inspiration for this, Thanks R3N)

And seriously, the argument here that this car is the best bang for buck.....for $160k est. in AU; the HSV's offer much more bang for buck. You get a 6.0l V8 which can, with a simple supercharger bolt-on, put the GTR into abyss. Click here to enlarge(again, thanks to R3N....Referring to straight-line speed.....didn't think I'd have to mention it but yeah.....)

Trying to convince a friend of mine to buy one when they become available - then I can piss-off my SRiT and the Subaru and buy his tweaked R34-GTR VSpec off of him - sweet!

obviously you're referring to straight line acceleration because the GTR would absolutely rape the HSV around a track

    you're an idiot... seriously

Lap time of 7:38 around the Nordschleife puts it faster than alot of the supercars out there, even beats the 997 GT3 RS. Honestly, get a clue and stop posting when you obviously know nothing at all, alot of us are getting tired of it already.

It looks like a Nissan Skyline GTR. It looks Japanese. Mission accomplished. The skyline has always been about function over form. I remember the R32 GTR coming out when I was a kid and thinking fark that thing is ugly give me a and 300ZX any day, many years later I wouldn’t give the 300ZX a second glance but will smile ear to ear when I see a GTR blast past.
