Also productions strain to meet demand for the new R35 is getting worse and that's just for their local market demand, Nissan now have a prob. with the supply of the transmission and are setting up another factory to produce them.

Looks like there's definitely going to be major delays for customers Worldwide to get an R35 GT-R...

OK guys for SSSHoon and anyone else interested in the white colour, here's some good pics I came across yesterday...

They really show the metallic/pearl in the duco to good effect - I'm beginning to see why white is the most popular colour for the GT-R so far, it looks mega sexy in these pics, should be the same or better in the flesh

Sorry to those who thought this thread was finally dead LOL...not likely with me around, BUT there's been lots of recent news and developments with this car, it's still mind blowing people all over the World !!!!

I thought this is worth a mention - the 'BASE MODEL' GTR has broken the 7:30 lap time at the Nurburgring running a 7:29 !

Out there ATM is the V-Spec model which has already clocked an unconfirmed 7:25 !!! and Nissan is gunning for a sub 7:20

For all who are unaware that leaves even the top spec Zonda in the weeds...

once this is released, it's going to be hard to justify paying more than double for a 911 turbo with less performance.

You've hit the nail on the head John

That's one of the most important points I've been trying to make people understand about this car....ie: it's long term implications on every other make and type of high performance car in the World !!!

Regardless of other factors - in a pure performance vs value/affordabitly sense, ALL other manufacturers have been given a rude awakening with this car and it's not over yet by a long shot, as there are still 2 hi-po models coming, V-spec and a rumoured even higher performance variant...

The benifit will be that all other makes 'will have to' lift their game now and hopefully offer more reasonably priced hi-po vehicles in the future, which is of benifit to all, regardless of personal preferences
