But as he says, it's all because of their attitude..
Everyone here thinks they own the road...if you came up to some guy in his VL and you were going quicker than him...there is not a chance in hell he'd change in to the slow lane.
We'll be lucky if they let us do 130km/h on country highways.
You will love it!! I have done a few laps with Sabine and she AWESOME!!!! Definitly a woman that CAN drive...
Bu the article is right. Aussie's have the worst driving attitude in the world (bar maybe India and China) that I have experienced. Italy on the Autostrada and the German Autobahns are amazing. 275+KPH and people are always out getting out of your way. Its a larger fine for staying in the fast lane, going too slow in the fast and mid speed lanes and not indicating than most of the speeding fines in Australia.
2KPH over the limits is dangerous at 2am in a 4 lane hwy...Yeah right..Only because the other freaks on the road don't keep left, don't indicate, don't care and do 90KPH in a 110 zone...
I have always said the answer is driver training. But Speeding fines rake in too much cash for the government...How else are they going to pay their over-inflated salaries, payouts, super and long lunches....

the answer to the bold bit is mobile phones...
my mate got a 250 dollar fine and 3 points for aan extended scratch of his ear.
when he told the cops to check his phone and they said "no, and whats to say you dont have another phone in the car"
so he said search the whole bloody car then. they said no again, think hes takin them to court...
