    Well well well

Near the begining I can be quoted as saying that U felt my sister's choice in a new car was down right silly. She bought a brand new, black WRX.

Anyway, I saw it for the first time yesterday. She turned up and said take it for a spin. Oh alright.

All I can say is the my opinion on a Rex has changed somewhat. The grunt and pickup this thing had was just out of this world. And I drove it fast and it felt fast. I kept running out of road.

The downside. Not many, but I hate the styling of the thing. Sorry, hate the styling from the front doors back. Looks like a 1 series BMW and now a i30 Hyundai.

That said, I could be very tempted into buying an STI. It looks the goods and I think it has more aggressive styling to turn your eyes away from the tail.

Sorry Subaru, I shouldn't have doubted you. I drove a B-Spec Liberty when looking at the Vectra and would have bought it except the money. It was a fantastic car. I can now afford that type of money so will seriously look.

I also read in the paper that Subaru has ditched the gentleman's power agreement and the new STI will have around 227kW. Good news!

And then thats a watered down figure as well...both the Evo X and STI will be pushing out more like 240Kw..but as with most jap high spec cars...they are taming it down on paper...as I found out when we took the Mazda MPS 3 and 6 to the dynos..
