Exclamation Europes Biggest selling car is now the..........

    Opel/Vauxhall Astra!!!!

Its nocked off the Golf from the top spot.

    Taken from www.finfacts.com:

Europe’s best selling model during 2006 was the Opel/Vauxhall Astra, which successfully knocked the VW Golf off the top spot. Renault Clio sits second in the chart followed by the Ford Focus while the VW Golf has now slipped to 4th position.

it appears that the VX / Opel have struck gold with the H ! - in any format they have produced (Hatch / Sporthatch) it looks AWESOME !!

Even the lower end models look good as the majority are shipped with 'all the toys' - Alloys, Air con CD player etc etc etc

they are all directed to the fleet and hire markets over here so that would account for a high number of sales, but that said, i know a number of people who have bought them with cash out of thier own pockets !!

they are still V goo dvalue for money too !
