MY4.5 BARINA AND ASTRA CLASSIC PRICING UPDATE

The purpose of this bulletin is to provide you with details of pricing for the MY4.5 Barina range and the new Astra Classic.

    MY4.5 Barina

Effective July 1, the Barina range will see a reduced RRP as follows:

3 Door: $14,990 inc air (man.)
5 Door: $16,990 inc air (man.)
SRi: $22,490 inc air (man. only)

Holden will fund a $1000 bonus on all models to achieve a 3 Door $13,990 (inc. air), 5 Door $15,990 (inc. air) and SRi $21,490 (inc. air) pricepoints. A TV advertising campaign to support the new pricepoint will commence on July 11. Dealers will not be required to claim the $1000 bonus as this will be reflected in vehicle invoicing.

    Astra Classic

The new Astra Classic range RRP is as follows:

Astra Classic sedan/hatch $19,990 inc air (man.)
Astra CD Classic sedan $22,990 inc air (man.)

A $1000 bonus will be applicable on all Classic models to achieve an entry level $18,990 inc. air pricepoint. This pricepoint will be funded by an approved equitable contribution between Dealers and Holden. A TV advertising campaign to support the launch of Astra Classic at $18,990 inc. air will commence on July 11.
Further bonuses on the TS range are also available.

The delettion of the sunroof option in the Vectra CDXi is only because Holden doesn't have the mechanics to repair sunroofs, that is why they fit after market sunroofs. Click here to enlarge
It all comes down to the servicing and repairs of the car.

    Huh???

You can get a factory fitted sunroof for a commodore.

Deletion of sunroof option in the Vectra means they have less variants to order/stock.

    Its not quite factory fitted.

My old mans XR6 Turbo had the sunroof die, and it had to be taken back to Ford, who got another company (the company who makes and fits the sunroof) to repair the problem.

When I bought my ZC Vectra earlier this year, the sunroof was still an option but it was going to be done by a thirdparty sunroof specialist. I thought they dropped the sunroof from the range to keep the max price down. They also took the refrig-glovebox out too. hehehe but i got that, that was essential, for carrying the brews for bbq to bbq....
