Pretty sure beyond tomorrow told me I'd have a touch screen holographic tv by now... :(
3D = NO - As jerram said there isnt any content in anything as yet to be worthwhile its just a few animations. I been to the 3D movies and you can watch 3/4 of the movie without the glasses
Samsung = Love it only recently got mine. LCD all the way
I'll stick with my LCD for a long while yet.
Certainly not gonna bother with 3D until prices have dropped
nope... my 5 year old 101cm samsung LCD is still good.. except for when it gets cold in the air
but apparently the demand for the 3D tv's are going nuts... so i am told not from personal experience
bought a 46" LCD 2 years ago, and a 42" LCD for the bedroom about a month ago... will wait for the LEDs to come down in price before upgrading, then MAYBE get a 3DTV.. when they come right down... so got a while yet!!
id get one only because i like new gadgets :P my 42" 6 year old pioneer is still going strong, was something like 12k when we got it :S and because of that mum thinks its full hd and still top of the range.... when its obviously not lol
Pioneer Tvs are the sex.. Shame the cost so much. Best looking picture I've ever seen! I still think u don't even really need full HD unless u have a 60"+ tv or projector. A 42" in 1080i or 720p is fine I never see any pixels and if u do ur too close :p or bought a shit tv ahhaahQuote:

whats better plasma or lcd as when i do get a new house i want a big 50 or so inch tv for the lounge haha
You're not trying hard enough Pete!
you can try a 54" Plasma.
50inch 1080P Panasonics are like $1,300. I paid $2k for mine last year and thought it was a bargain of a lifetime..lol
to me, plasma looks much smoother and natural, compared to LCD... but end of the day, have a look for yourself to see which you prefer.
and yeah, the Pioneers were the best, 720P Kuro's would probably still have one of the best PQ today of any TV.
