TBH, I have no real idea what a hit is....
Quote Webalizer.
"Basically, HITS is the total number of HTTP requests that the server received during the reporting period. Any request made to the server is considered a hit. FILES is the number of hits that actually resulted in something being sent back to the user, such as an HTML page or image."
Currently'
Files = 1,209,174
Hits = 2,114,913
A page Hit, is different to you guys viewing pages all day.. hahaha
basically a "Hit" is a file or files that are sent to a browser via a web server. so for eg... if you are viewing a page that has 20pics on it.. that counts as 21 Hits for you, cause you have one hit yourself for opening the page plus the 20 files that the web server has had to load into your browser...
i hope i kinda explained it properly :D then you get into visitors and page views... wich is defferent again.. so am gunna shut up now..
but well done guys.. awesome month hehe
so everytime i refresh... that is a hit right???
