Windows Gadgets

Anyone still using them or have you turned them off as Microsoft has recommended due to security vulnerabilities...

Pfft. Windows is a security vulnerability.

I've still got mine on. Norton takes care of the rest

Thanks Adz - was just installing a couple that I used to have before I reformatted my computer, of course the page that Windows used to host them all had got rid of them and replaced them with some excuse about wanting to support Windows 8.

Then I discovered a security bulletin talking about how you need to disable them because of security issues, but the bigpond meter and CPU/HDD meters are so good, especially since Dell decided to put the HDD led behind the screen so you can't see it anyway.
