What is the best software to sync my Nexus 5 to my Outlook contacts and calenders?
Bag Apple all you want, but everything just works out of the box.
Google Calendar can sync with Outlook calendars (pre 2003 won't work)
For contacts you can use GO Contact Sync.
Or for both DejaOffice CRM - Outlook sync is meant to work well.
I sync it all with my google account, works very well.
just use my @gmail.com account, then the calender and contacts all syncs.
ok, got contacts/calender working using google migration app.
But this doesn't solve the issue of outlook and the phone automatically syncing contacts and calenders between each other.
There was a app from google that you install on the PC to sync the calendar but google have taken it away. Will see if I can find it.
Sync automatically both ways? google migration app seems to only work manually.
The reasons I need both ways, is say I create an appointment on my phone, the phone needs to place it in outlook. Once it is in outlook, my outlook calendar are shared with other people in the office so they can keep track of and make appointments on my behalf.
FFS, even my old HP and Sony Ericsson phones synced calenders/contacts (via their own software) each time you plugged it into the USB port.
Both ways. Still looking for it
