sorted out some of the under body scrapes on my car which started to rust.
changed aux belt tensioner and belt.
painted inside of wheel arches black.
Received and fitted Insignia washer jets. A little bit of stuffing around, but they're in. They also need adjusting, which I need the tool for (should be here in the next day or two). Also fitted my M-Tech short shifter, but I am yet to take it out for a drive. CBF moving the van and then taking said car out, only to put the van behind the car again.
How much better are the washer jets! I've been meaning to have a look and see if I can fit one in the back window. Might have to borrow your adjusting tool or buy it off you when you're done, think one of mine shoots a little high, it can get the back window wet haha
Just use a bic pen. Remove the ink and tip, cut a + into the top and your done.
That sounds like the way to go, cheers for that :) I'll have a look at it sometime
Anyone would think you two were literally having a pissing contest, lol.
Anyway, decided I had to put some new globes in the Pregio. The old generic Narvas sucked, so I whacked in some Plus 120s and what a difference that makes. I will be able to actually see things, like the road on my way to work in the morning now. Oh, and I took out the SRi to test the short shift. All I can say is wow. Given that the SRi still has a new clutch, the shifting is just awesome. I need a bit more driving to wear the new bushes in, but it's worth every cent. As @dutchy said, I can't believe they don't do this kind of thing from factory.
