Well, for my conversion, I'd need the Corsa VXR manifold anyway. It's pretty much the same bolt pattern as the C16 exhaust manifold, therefore the top row of holes would need to be drilled out to fit the Z18. Yet, funny enough the exhaust ports are in the right place. I've also thought about just taking a stock Z18 exhaust manifold, chop the catalytic converter off and just weld on a flange for a Garrett.
Thanks :)
It's going to be a good thing... ;)
We can use the power by limiting it to certain boost levels in certain gears. Drivability shouldn't be impacted too much.
{insert spanking emoticon here!!}
Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment. :)
Hmmm, that's one of those questions "How much is too much!!"
The new turbo is another EFR and has a flow rate of 80lb+/min. Usual conversion is 10lb/min = 100hp so we're looking at 750 to 800hp or there abouts at the crank which is 550 to 590kw's at the crank. So that may see 500+kw at the front wheels...
He means how much you want for the turbo :p
