Good shit head lights look way better eh, massive difference. Bring on the OPCs!!!
Getting ready for roadworthy so..............new front discs, pads and wear sensors, new coolant reservoir and level sensor, replaced all dash globes, replaced rocker cover gasket, new wipers, one new (second hand) wheel and a new centre cap, restored headlights and replaced a heap of globes, and replaced my number plate light cover as it was yellow!
Next is radiator, timing belt and water pump then I think I'll be set.
Just blew up the GSi. Haven't worked out what's happened just yet, but I'm thinking it's the timing belt or the fact it might have overheated. Either way, I'm ready to just give up on the damn thing as I've just had enough of it.
Oh no! That's horrible news mate. Hope it works out for you soon.
Might work out better for me if I set it on fire. Pity I'm just about to get stuck into the E30 and have a carport full of BMW parts at the moment, otherwise I'd be hooking straight into the Vectra.
Other thing I had thought of is, I have a perfectly good C22SEL, in bits mind you. If I had the gearbox, driveshafts and mounts, I'm pretty sure that could find its way into the GSi.
Finally put the CDTI box on tonight, K&N took 4 weeks to arrive from the UK. Drives much better than with the heat soaked POD
