floor pan is approx 20mm lower.
Also washed engine bay, and under the car.
more investigation done on my mysterious oil leak. now seems to be the seal where the gear linkage on the gearbox is.
put it in the window? thats still legal...
yeah but I like my dining room table
hey guys i was driving today in the rain and then the wiper blade arm just started hitting the other one and when i got home
i looked at it and it doesn't sit right its sitting too high up and when i put them on they just hit each other i think it might be the wiper blade holder
any ideas on where and how much it will cost to fix
thanks
just buy smaller wiper blade holders i did this a few times till i realised that the ones u get told to use are to long and replaced it with a shorter one
yeah thanks but its something under the black cover the whole arm moves too much i think somethings snapped
it just doesn't sit right they wore fine be4
lift the cover. align wiper to correct location, do up the 13mm nut tight and you should be right.
the wiper wont come off tried all night i will take it to holden and see what they can do thanks guys
lol dont take it to holden, just try a local garage they'll be able to loosen the nut and lever the wiper arm off, holden will charge you through the roof and as found out by alot of people here, have no more experience with euros than any small workshop!!
drove my car in the wet today for the first time on the 16s, pretty much zero traction, but then again the tyres are 9 years old.......... eeek!!
mate just loosen your nut if you all the way up to the top of the stud thread get a hammer and a punch and give it a few light taps and i mean light taps i did this with mine and gave it enough to pop upso it was loose
ok yeah your prob right there holden are expensive i let u guys know how it goes
realigned the gearchange linkage today, after having replaced it on Saturday - not good when you get reverse gear when you've selected 1st ;-). Must have slipped over the last few days (must remember to tighten stuff appropriately in the first place too)
anyone replaced the linkage on an ah astra be4?
my passenger side wiper is playing up and i have tried everything and it still doesn't work
and it might be the linkage
yeah i might do that thanks guys for your help
What have you done to your car today?
Lowered My car with Eibach Sportline.
LOOKS MINT PS88!!!!
love them rims
fitted CAI from behind grille to pod :D awesome to the max
ordered 2 new rims for my car to replace damaged ones. (will take a couple of weeks to arrive)
and bought another bonnet to modify
Apart from doing an oil/filter change, I replaced a perished breather hose (the 6mm ID crankcase to TB one) via a joiner until the correct hose arrives, blanked & replaced the EGR valve.
The V6 is now running great, but has this rasp to it that is what I imagine a pod filter to sound like, although I've never actually heard one. It sounds like it's coming from the TB but it's not been removed.
Any ideas peeps?????
possible the idle air control valve, which is a part of the throttle body, needs to be cleaned out every so often on these cars.
Got my diesel airbox in the mail :D
Might have my intake for sale very soon
pushed the red one down teh driveway, mowed under it
pics of your intake CNBLU..
also, today i got some scratch remover and got rid of the light scratches that were where my boot badge used to be. awesome.
then i got bored so i chucked my old boost controller on the astra and dialed it up to 20.
