not a cheap exercise!
Didn't grab the manual transmission while you were there?
Got the brakes fitted today :D. Drive home was very, very pleasing - the brakes just have so much feel now, so progressive.
The old brakes had this.. quality.. where when driving along, you'd move your foot to the brakes and gently apply them and the car would lurch/braking hard, and you'd have to quickly let off. I'd always assumed it was Brake Assist overacting, but it's completely gone now. Perhaps better pads (I was on OEM ones :o) would have also solved it, but I'd always assumed it was poor tuning of the electronics. In any case though, it's just light and day between the car as it is now and as it was when it went in this morning... very pleased. :D
It's all an AP kit. Pads, fluid, calipers and rotors are all AP, Goodrich (I think?) lines :)
Fitted my new airbox, have to wait till tommorow to fit the tophat and powerpipe.
In leather you are looking around the 2K to 5K.
I managed to get it done well below all of that due to the fact fronts were bought on ebay cheap and rears were professionally done by someone my dad has been using for over 20 years.
They quoted the whole job at $4.5k
On topic: I moved my car undercover as I wont be near it for the next 10 days:(
