no worries.. at long as they get you through ..
how much did you pay and what condition?
85% tread both for $60
They have a decent enough review on them and they are only going on the back so should be alright for now.
As long as they are no more than 5 to 6 years old, you should be fine :)
Brings back memories of my time quite a few years back in the Corsa C with near new Bridgestone GIII's at the front and old tyres at the back. Went in a corner a little too hot and began to understeer, so a quick stab on the brakes and slight opposite lock to pivot the back of the car around, and then accelerate and straighten the wheel again as soon as the car lined up in the lane at the corner exit...
(I guess that is why they generally recommend the average drivers to always have better tyres at the back, as understeer is easier for them to control than oversteer!)
They are dated 2007
Will get the RE002s sooner than I thought I guess
They should still be ok on a day-to-day basis. It is just that we probably should avoid using tyres that are too old, at least according to http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html under the section "DOT Codes and the 6-year shelf life"...
Cool. For some silly reason I thought it was 10 years. Jokes on me lol. Ill use them for a couple months and ill sort out some new ones then. Cheers J :)
As 2007 dates they'll be alright until 2013 anyway, just chuck em on the front and enjoy not caring about chewing through them. Got them damn cheap anyway!
but good luck in the wet, hard tyres and water are not fun...
