The GTI-R will blow away a rex, so I dont think an astra turbo has any chance.Quote:

fairly stock NA SSS times can span low to hi 15s. i think even hi 14s.
Having owned a SSS, GTI-R and now an Astra SRI Turbo, the pulsar is by far the quickest car of them all. As previously mention it will out run a rex and give some porsche's a scare. As for the SSS v Astra i would think it would be a pretty good race with the Astra just getting the nod.
GTI-Rs run like low 14s stock dont they?
astra turbos stock give the feeling they arent quick because they have such a flat torque curve, but i know sss pulsars do like 16 sec 1/4s compared to 14.7 for a stock astra turbo
SR20DET is the engine from the 200sx and GTi-R, and the NX Coupe [I WIN] has it. the nx runs 11's 1/4 mile. 400HP front wheel drive.. i work with the owner at bexley north FLEMINGS. Anicorsa might have seen this car, its always parkd in the car park.. fu*kn quik
the sr20 is only 104kw, and it only just beats a 1.8 astra.. about 1/2 car length.
My mate has a 1996 SSS Pulsar, Usual Mods. My 2.2 SRi munches him.
He wants to sell it now and get a Audi A4 Quattro. Smart Boy I say :)
