I'll consider 3D if FTA TV had sufficient programming and I didn't have to wear those stupid glasses.
oh, I've rather a 60inch Plasma than 46inch LED LCD.
your right john, a 60" heater in melbourne is a good idea :p
Plasma ftw! Better pic quality and refresh rates to my eyes :)
i thought all TV's were 3D.. they all have height, width and depth :)
I want a 4d tv.. Built in time machine :)
And no i won't settle for a pvr so I can stop and rewind tv :p
my 6 year old Philips CRT 76cm widescreen is still going strong - but if it did die tomorrow - probably would just buy a normal LCD or stretch to a LED - but if a 3D samsung is cheaper than the Series 8's, then would just get a 3D model and use it whenever it was called for (prob not that often)
Don't have room for a 60" Plasma unfortunately. :(
no wont be getting one.
Although a touch annoyed at the pricing of them though.
We got our Aquos for more then what the 3D ones are selling for, yeah it was a few years ago but still. Glad as its still the good aquos before they started making them in god knows where
Prefer my LCD to a plasma too thanx....

Last time I heard Sharp were still making their panels in Kowanyama (or wherever in Japan). Assembly is in Malaysia though I beleive.
